The Abernethy Connector has made great damage to our farm. Now the City of Pitt Meadows proposes another road (North Lougheed Connector) that would cut our farm again.
Many thanks to all the supporters who came to our farm, then to Pitt Meadows City Hall to help protect our farmland. The turnout was tremendous. We had about 200 people who showed to voice their concern about the planned destruction of our organic farmland. Thank you. You are all wonderful. We have to continue to protect our foundation.
The City Council wants to pass the construction plan at a council meeting Sept. 4, 2007. A protest is planned. We need your support to say "no" to City of Pitt Meadows. Please come to our farm at 4 PM and we will go to the City Hall at 6:30 PM.
